History
Transmed has been founded by Dr.Melike Kulahci and Reiner Paeffgen in Istanbul on February, 1994 as an International medical center in order to offer state of the art cosmetic surgery.
After moving to its 600m2 new building in Levent on February 1997, Transmed has started to grow up by enhancing its services.
 In 1997, Transmed was the first to offer Laser Epilation in Turkey with Epilight and Alexandrite Laser Systems.
In 1998 Transmed introduced Liposhaping as a soft method of liposuction under the guidance of Dr. Giorgio Fiscler from Rome . Dr. Fiscler gave seminars and educated Transmed doctors about the concept of liposhaping.
In 1999, Transmed started offering complete cosmetic surgeries -breast operation, abdominoplasty, nose operation, lipofilling, eyelid and face lift- with Dr. Emirali Hamiloğlu.
In 2000, the concept of ‘dermalifting’ was brought to the market. Face rejuvenation without operation became possible with the use of Botox and Fillers.
Until 2001 more than 1200 liposuction operations were performed successfully at Transmed.
 2003 happened to be the time for renovations and enhancing the services in Transmed again. The building has renewed by one of the famous architects in Turkey and became a modern, relaxing environment in order to provide the best services to its customers.
Renovation has not been made in terms of renewing the building and enhancing the services only, it is also been made in terms of recreating the corporate identity in order to follow the developments brought by new era.
The logo that identifies Transmed for 10 years, ‘ Transmed International Medical Center ’ has changed to ‘Transmed Hair & Cosmetic Surgery Clinic’ in order to emphasize its fields of expertise and become more innovative.
 In 2003 Dr. Osman Oymak, (OPC Clinic) became a partner of Transmed Clinic taking over the responsibility of cosmetic surgery department.
In 2003 Transmed Skin Clinic was invented, a new concept that developed jointly by Transmed and OPC (Oymak Plastic Surgery Center) in order to make treatments according to the structure of the skin determined with skin analysis. At the SKIN CLINIC, the affects of aging are determined with comprehensive devices, based on objective criteria.
In 2004 Dr. Tunç Tiryaki joined Transmed as Cosmetic Surgeon and Director of Skin Clinic.
 In 2004 Dr. Betül Şengör, Dermatolog joined Transmed as to take responsibility for all dermatology treatments. -Plasmalite, Chemical Peeling, Omnilux, Lazer Epilation, Mezotheraphy and Lpg-
In 2005, Transmed introduced Lipocontouring as the new concept in liposuction. Jeffrey Klein invented tumescent liposuction. Dr. Ergin Er completed an intensive in-the-operating room & hands-on-course in Tumescent Liposuction Surgery given by Dr.Klein himself in Los Angeles , United States.
