Mesotherapy

Applied for the first time in 1952 by Dr. Michel Pistor, this method was approved to be a conventional medical means by the French Academy of Medicine in 1987.

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical cosmetic medicine treatment. It is a medical specialty that involves injecting microscopic quantities of natural extracts, homeopathic agents, pharmaceuticals and vitamins into the skin. Can be used to eliminate cellulite, promote weight loss, treat aging skin and redundant (sagging) skin, rejuvenate the hands and neck and hair loss.

The term mesotherapy refers to treatment of the middle layer of skin. Mixtures of medication selected for the specific indication are injected under the skin within 5 to 10 minutes.

This method has the following advantages over other conventional medication treatments: local application in small doses, ignorable risk of side effects, fast and efficient results.

Transmed applies mesotherapy for treatment of cellulite, hair loss and face rejuvenation.
Cellulite is a phenomenon different from general fatty deposits, and it cannot be removed through diet, exercise or other slimming methods. More or less, all women potentially face the risk of developing cellulite.

One of the most efficient treatment methods for cellulite is mesotherapy. This treatment regulates blood and lymph circulation and breaks excess fats to remove cellulite tissues. Burning of broken fats is supported with treatment, diet, exercise and LPG. Frequency and duration of sessions depends on the type and location of cellulite. In general, the body slims down 1 or 2 sizes and the skin becomes flexible and smooth after 8 to 12 sessions. Mesotherapy can treat cellulite located anywhere on the body.

Normally hair falls at a certain rate to renew itself and to ensure growth of new hair. If the process of falling is faster than that of renewal, it is a case of loss of hair. Hair can be lost due a variety of reasons; the types answering to mesotherapy include metabolic, stress-induced and seasonal losses and postnatal sudden fall. Mesotherapy is a supportive treatment of other types of hormonal and/or genetic loss of hair. Patient undergoes a session of treatment once a week. Depending on the level of loss, treatment lasts 6 to 8 weeks. It is recommended that the first 4 sessions be held at weekly intervals, the remaining 2 to 4 sessions at 15-day intervals.

Mesotherapy is used for skin rejuvenation. Subdermal vitamin injections rejuvenate the cells, making them more active, and thereby stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. You can begin anti-aging treatments in your mid twenties to prevent wrinkles from forming. Treatments for the face, neck, arms and hands are recommended several times each year.
